Timmy Lee`s Pub in Saint Ignace

This is the second time we've been hear and loved it both times. We traveled through here about the same time last year and found it through Yelp. Loved it then and it was just as good this year. The plank white fish is incredible, the rib eye was also great. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back

French dip tasted like beef jerky. Tough and dry. Mozzarella sticks were gross. Biting bugs everywhere. Fries were ok. Service was ok.

Great service and great food! The jalapeno poppers and green olive burger are amazing!

My family had a nice visit there today. The food was very good and reasonably priced. Service was promptl and courteous. We would definitely come back if we find ourselves in the area again. Minus 1 star as the women's bathroom was covered in water and my daughter slipped and fell on it getting soaking wet. We notified the waitress who was very apologetic, but nothing else really came of it in the way of help or understanding. Fortunately we had our camper attached so she was able to change her clothes right away and not sit in bathroom floor water for the meal.

Timmy Lee's looks like a casual biker bar but don't be fooled by the appearance, the planked white fish is excellent, and not overpriced! Yes, this is a photo of my actual dinner -- very filling.

Love this place. We stop by every time we are in the area. I dare say the best pub in the area. The owner is a very nice person and always loves talking to the customers and making them feel welcome. If you haven't experienced Timmy Lee's pub yet, you really ow it to yourself to stop in and say hello!

My fiance and I have been here quite a few times. We usually make a point to stop on our way to and from the UP. The service is always friendly and we've had very good food. I recently got the Cajun white fish salad which had nicely seasoned and cooked white fish, fresh lettuce (not bagged) and veggies. My fiance loves their prime rib philly on a pretzel bun. I'd recommend either one!

Awesome food, our meals were wonderful and very filling. If you leave hungry it's your own fault.service was great and we didn't wait long at all for our meals.

Had a great dinner. They had a band playing good music. I had the Saturday night Prime rib special and the hubby had the Reuben special. Both were awesome. Prices are reasonable.

Great food and fast service. There was a party of 40 that came in right before us and staff was making sure the party was taken care of along with other customers. Food was hot and delicious. We will stop again while traveling north!

The food is good and the service excellent. It's a great place to get an idea of what the Upper Peninsula is all about food and community wise. If things slow down enough you might even meet Timmy Lee himself, and he is quite a character. Great place for a good bite to eat and a pleasant time.

My husband and I loved this place. Great service and very nice inside. We both got the whitefish basket with fries and it was amazing. Only thing we didn't like was the coleslaw, which is not usual. Definitely coming again next time we're in the area.

Nice place to visit, especially if you want to break away from the chains as soon as you get off the bridge. Classic pub feel with a nice bar and two pool tables. The food the good and well priced. The service was nice and prompt.

This place has DELICIOUS food at a reasonable price! Our waitress was super fast and friendly as well .We'll definitely be back when we're up here.

Fantastic! The food was awesome, the pulled pork nachos are tasty and huge! The pub is cute and welcoming and the service was fast. Take the skin off the whitefish or at least mention it's fried skin on in the menu and it'd be 5 stars. Even the croutons and ranch are homemade.

Stopped in during our time at St Ignase. Has the Yooper burger and was one of the best meals I have had all vacation. Meat was well seasoned and fresh. Add that to a bed of cut fries and gravy and you have heaven. Wonderful friendly service capped off a great experience.

Why wait an hour for Clyde’s when you can get better food, and faster more comfortable service? This place is great and I dare say the food was better than Clyde’s. The burger was perfect and juicy, the fries delicious, the salad was made with fresh crisp veggies. Great selection of draft beers. We will definitely skip Clyde’s and it’s loooooong wait times and enjoy Timmy Lee’s instead!

The food was phenomenal, and the service was great! My husband got the white fish and loved it. The fried mushrooms are amazing. I had a chicken wrap and you can just tell the ingredients are fresh not frozen and long term stored. I would recommend to anyone visiting the St. Ignace area!

Great local place. Very nice stop on the way to or from the interior of the Upper Peninsula. Good burgers and just generally a good place for lunch or dinner. Prices are fair.Pool tables, larger banquet room for reservation, full bar, large screen TVs, clean bathrooms.

Timmy and his staff did amazing for my Uncles memorial dinner. Food was great as well as the service. We could not have asked for better.

6.2.2019 We are at Timmy Lee's today. They are closed, telephone shut off. A lot of internet searching indicates they CLOSED PERMANENTLY as of early May 2019. Sorry to see such a great place shut down...Previous post...5 hour drive from Indiana for a beer and a meal. We LOVE this place. Nice motorcycle destination.

Edit: In response to user who thinks the reviews are fake. Mine isn't at least. I genuinely enjoyed my meal during our vacation at this restaurant. Classic pub with updated style, bar area with dining area adjacent. Plenty of fresh fish on the menu along with ribs, steak and typical bar-fare. Locals seem to like it plenty. Service was a little slow, but redeemed themselves quickly after realizing we needed service. Great food and great beer on tap. Likely to return.

The food was good and the pizza and salad and French dip was really good and juicy. The service was a little slow. But otherwise ok.

Came in on a Friday evening and found a seat at this local bar/diner. A musician was playing guitar in the corner and I was surprised to find it was nearly empty in the place. I've got nothing but great things to say about Timmy Lee's though. The prices were fair, I was immediately served, and before I could even get comfortable, my food was in front of me! They have some fast chefs, man! The Whitefish sandwich on my pretzel bun was amazing and the fries equally as so. I left a happy camper for sure.

Drive the extra mile away from the mainline and follow the smell of cheese and beer. Plenty of space to kick back with some great food.

Doesn't look like much from the outside, but I am glad we came here instead of eating downtown Mackinaw. I loved the welcoming atmosphere, all the little trinkets about MI and the UP. The fish and chips was crispy, flaky, and seasoned perfectly. I loved the dark beer on Tap. The service was great. Don't miss this place if your coming this way!

I was really impressed with the atmosphere and the quality of the food. The place doesn't look like much on the outside, but I think that's part of what makes it so great. The pulled pork nachos are heavenly.

Very good food, we had potato skins, a whitefish basket and loaded pulled pork. The skins were nice and crispy with a good mix of cheese and bacon (just needed scallions or chives to be perfect). Loaded pork was juicy and flavorful over excellent fries. Whitefish was crispy with a tartar sauce that had dill (yum). Only problem was that Timmy's was short on help and had an unexpected cried of customers because of bad weather (from campground).

Decided to stop here because the line to get on the bridge was incredibly long and it was the only restaurant close by. Best decision ever! The food was fabulous and my kids loved the little game room. I would highly recommend this place!

Pretty good selection of food and beers in a pretty sparse area.The biggest improvement I'd offer would be to add more vegetables to the sandwiches which relied almost exclusively on dressings to balance the meat and fish.The cream cheese jalapeño poppers were great but wicked hot (temperature). Didn't work well for an appetizer as they weren't cool enough to eat until I'd finished my sandwich.

Husband said his green olive burger was the best burger he has ever had. Service was good. Atmosphere is a small tavern, pretty basic, but decent lighting. Recommended overall.

Great local restaurant. The bartender was the only server on a weekday night and he managed the dining area very well!! I enjoyed the food and the atmosphere!

The crab “lagoons” were killer! Liked the pickle chips. The ranch was okay. My boyfriends loaded fries were really good! My chicken bacon wrap was not so good. I asked for a side cup of ranch... I never got it. Our waiter never checked on us. We had to go and get our bill. When we left our waiter repeatedly apologized saying he was very busy, but I seen him just standing and talking a lot! When we come back to the UP we will not be going to Timmy Lee,s Pub.

Driving from downstate to U.P. and time for a late lunch break. Foods, service and atmosphere ... excellent! I had BBQ pork nachos. It is delicious and a large serving! Jim had whitefish sandwich and he said it was also excellent. Friendly owner, chef, and other customers. Will definitely go back and try something diferent! Highly Recommend ...A+

I have only been once and our server was new but friendly. I had the fried Whitefish, which was so good I couldn't stop thinking about it the rest of the weekend. I will definitely bee going again. Domestic pints are good price. #happyhour

I get the "Bing" burger every time I visit Timmy Lee's. It never disappoints! I altered this slightly and chose a pretzel bun..delish! Great atmosphere, great service!

Come here every time we cross that bridge. Very rustic atmosphere. Great service. The yooper burger is unbelievable which is similar to poutine with a twist. Love it!
